THE MELCHIZEDEK WAY

Learning to love God, love yourself and loving other people is the hallmark to serving and making impact as a priest of Jesus Christ.

The Melchizedek Way!

Why Does it Matter?

There are two main types of priesthoods mentioned in scripture. The first is the Levitical Priesthood, which began under Moses and continued until the day of Pentecost around AD 33. Most of the Old Testament focuses on this system because it was central to the formation of Israel, its laws, ceremonies, and religious practices.

However, there is another priesthood that was established by God long before Moses, the Melchizedek Priesthood. This priesthood began with Seth, who taught people about God’s righteousness during a time when violence and false teachings filled the earth. From Seth’s time, the Melchizedek Priesthood was passed down from firstborn son to firstborn son, eventually reaching Abraham. At that time, entire communities, like the City of Salem, were formed to train and equip men to serve as Melchizedek Priests. When Bible writers shifted their focus to Israel through Moses, the Melchizedek Priesthood received less attention in scripture but never ended or lost its power.

Jesus Christ openly declared Himself a Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, making Him the final and eternal High Priest. This means that today, anyone who serves Christ does so under the Melchizedek Priesthood and not the Levitical system. Becoming a Melchizedek Priest is a sacred and life-changing step because it means you are representing Jesus Christ on earth, carrying out His mission to bring people back to God.

Being a Melchizedek Priest isn’t limited to serving in the church. Priests are called to represent God’s nature, wisdom, and values in every area of life, whether in ministry, business, government, education, or any other field. Wherever you are, you carry God’s heart, His purpose, and His kingdom into the world!
